Being fascinated by the human eye and optics since fairly early school years, a career in ophthalmology was always a possibility! I am very fortunate to love what I do and be able to draw upon some of the most amazing technology available, in my day to day care for patients. The impact of removing a cataract on someone’s quality of life is a continual wonder. I am fortunate to have had some exceptional mentors in my career to date, who have shared their knowledge and surgical pearls in the management of many complex ocular conditions. Any condition involving eyesight is potentially a source of very significant anxiety for any patient, and I am extremely honoured to be able to walk alongside on that journey, providing help and encouragement to the best of my ability.
